There’s nothing complicated about it, Avril and BSB make a perfect stage combo! The boy band announced on March 12 that they were extending their ‘In a World Like This’ tour, and adding Avril Lavigne — and I couldn’t think of a better pair up!

The Backstreet Boys don’t need another act to join them to sell tickets — and neither does Avril Lavigne! However, the fact that they’re joining together for the North American tour will bring happiness to so many — because if you were too young for BSB, you weren’t too young for Avril!

BSB put out four albums between 1996 and 2000, before taking a hiatus. In those four albums, their fan base grew tremendously, and their hits piled up. From “Everybody (Backstreet’s Back)” and “As Long As You Love Me” to “I Want It That Way” and “Larger than Life,” they produced hit after hit after hit.
