This Saturday, hip-hop legends reunite at one of DC's best venues, The Lodge At RedRocks. It was almost 25 years ago when two Columbia University students started what was the most influential radio show in music history, The Stretch & Bobbito Show.
Stretch Armstrong and Bobbito Garcia paved the way for many of music's biggest stars, featuring New York's best but mostly unknown artists at the time, spotlighting their talents on the weekly radio show responsible for catapulting many of rap's largest names today. Notorious BIG, Jay-Z, Nas, Eminem and Wu-Tang Clan to name a few. The Source Magazine called The Stretch & Bobbito Show the greatest radio show of all time. The show ran for almost 10 years before Stretch & Bobbito went on to pursue their own individual ventures. Both still remaining influential figures in the world of music. This Saturday, March 29th, Stretch and Bobbito reunite again for one of DC's biggest nights at The Lodge At RedRocks for a FREE event. That's right, this is a FREE event. Get there early. Opening sets from JahSonic and Sharkey. Doors open at 8pm.
