Mark Ronson roars back on to the scene with the shiny new dance-floor freaker “Uptown Funk” featuring r&b wunderkind Bruno Mars. The new record, 'Uptown Special', will be released in January, and lead single 'Uptown Funk' is streaming now below.
Tame Impala's Kevin Parker, Simian Mobile Disco's James Ford, Miike Snow's Andrew Wyatt, Hudson Mohawke and DJ Zinc will all feature on the LP, as well as Bruno Mars, who appears on 'Uptown Funk'.
I guess we all knew the super-producer and his pint-sized performer had been sippin’ on the purple stuff for some time now, but this thing would have even Morris Day asking what time it is. What’s more, the duo will be hitting Saturday Nigh Live on November 22nd to perform their shimmering boogie single. No word on whether either of them have anything on the way in the form of an album, but you know where to get the scoop when the grapevine starts chirping. Listen to Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars’ “Uptown Funk” below and grab a copy of the single on iTunes today.
