Eminem presents the official music video for the his lead single “Berzerk,” from the upcoming album Marshall Mathers LP 2. The Billy Squire sampled track features a play on the old school vibe with a giant boombox and VHS clips, as well as appearances from Rick Rubin, Kendrick Lamar, Slaughterhouse and The Alchemist. Eminem’s eighth studio album The Marshall Mathers LP 2 will be available on November 4.

Impala Cantina's Saturday Taco Throwdown
Everyone has been asking what the 4-1-1 is on Impala Cantina finally opening since we did our blow out of a Cinco de Mayo party there in their H Street courtyard last May. They are close people!!! I've seen it for my own eyes. We're hoping they'll have at least some of the building open to the public by the H Street Festival on Saturday September 21st. Regardless, we'll be doing our second courtyard party there that day. In the meantime, Impala is holding picnic styled events in the courtyard every Saturday from 1pm-7pm until they officially open. So get down there and get your taco's, agua fresca & horchata's on!

The 1970's Era Home built 26 Feet Underground
This unbelievable home was built 26 feet beneath the ground and is pretty much a time capsule of 1970's decor. The home includes full working amenities. The garden of the home alone includes a four-hole putting green, a swimming pool, two Jacuzzi's, a sauna, dance floor, bar, BBQ (camouflaged in a rock) and adjustable light settings for “sunset,” “day,” “dusk” and “night”. Jay Z premieres the new video for "Holy Grail" on Facebook today featuring Justin Timberlake and directed by Anthony Mandler.
He's first major artist to release a music video exclusively on Facebook for 24 hours. "Holy Grail" is a standout track on his Magna Carta Holy Grail album. In the clip, Jay watches a clip of Buster Douglas knocking out Mike Tyson and switches up the whole song. Timberlake shows up later in the video, too. The visuals are absolutely incredible.
Eaters Look Inside Doi Moi DC, Opening Tonight
Here's a glimpse of what diners can expect when Doi Moi opens tonight on 14th Street: all white everything with pops of color from imported Vietnamese tiles, a monk mural, iced Vietnamese coffee brewed with Blue Bottle Coffee, and Thai fried bananas.
This is the third restaurant from proprietor Mark Kuller and chef/partnerHaidar Karoum, the team behind Proof and Estadio. Kuller and Karoum traveled extensively across Thailand and Vietnam to research the regional dishes for Doi Moi's menu, including bun ho hue, a spicy lemongrass, beef and pork noodle soup; ga roti, a Vietnamese-style lemongrass and spice-roasted chicken; and khao soi gai, a Chiang Mai chicken and noodle curry. H Street's Newest Addition: Red Rocks
Over the past couple years, the space at 1348 H street, NE has definitely had its fair share of purposed restaurants and nights clubs claim the space. Just as quickly as hopeful H Street walker by's watched businesses signs go up on the building, they'd almost immediately be removed and replaced once again by a "for lease" sign. Whether it be licensing issues or land lord tenant issues, for one reason or another, no single business was able to get the front doors open. So the building sat like a giant over done eye sore, until now. Columbia Heights Neapolitan styled Pizzeria, RedRocks has completed their build out and should be a week or so from opening.
